Our Lakeside red is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot. The rich black cherry flavors and soft tannins in the Merlot help to soften the tart cherry/cranberry flavors and hold tannins of the Cabernet Sauvignon. The resulting blend is a highly versatile, full bodied wine with intense fruit and well balanced acidity.
